Dewey Cooper ready to chop down the “Dutch Lumberjack” in Dubai

By Jody Kohn

Despite being two of the biggest names in Muay Thai, Dewey Cooper and Peter Aerts have never met in the ring.  All that is about to change on May 29 in Dubai.

We had the chance to speak with the “Black Kobra” following a workout at the Mayweather Boxing Club to get his thoughts on the upcoming fight in which he will be giving up a significant amount of size.  Though he weighs as much as 50 lbs. less than his Dutch counterpart, Cooper believes he has the skills and game plan to emerge victorious.

Cooper tells us how he sees the fight playing out, as well as how it is he makes the time to successfully compete himself, while at the same time preparing other fighters in various combat sports.  Cooper just may be the busiest guy in combat sports.
