Amer Abdallah captures WKA cruiserweight crown with 2nd round TKO

By Jody Kohn

Amer Abdallah captures the WKA cruiserweight title last night when he scored a second round TKO victory over England’s Dan Hughes.  It is the first time a world title has been fought for in the town of Lockport, NY, and it was particularly fitting considering Abdallah has been a long time resident of the Buffalo suburb.

Abdallah, who has relocated to Las Vegas, NV has been training at the Mayweather Boxing Club and lists Jeff Mayweather and Dewey Cooper among his trainers.
