Former 2X world champion Ana Julaton returned to action this past weekend in Mexico, and scored a unanimous decision over power punching Maria Nunez. There was confusion following the fight as it was originally called a draw. However, it was revealed that the announcement was in error, as Julaton had indeed won the fight.
Julaton has been dividing her time between MMA and boxing over the past couple years, but has said her true love is indeed boxing. With this victory, she will be likely looking to add another world title to her resume in the near future.
As for Nunez, it is back to the drawing board as she has now dropped her last two contests.
