Chávez Jr. & Martínez Weigh-In Open to the Public at Wynn Las Vegas

Undefeated World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion and Son of the Legend, JULIO CÉSAR CHÁVEZ JR., 46-0-1, 32 KOs), of Culiacán, México, and two-division world champion and pound for pound kingpin with the matinee idol looks, SERGIO “Maravilla” MARTÍNEZ (49-2-2, 28 KOs), of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, will go face to face one last time before they go mano a mano at their Official Weigh-In Today! Friday, September 14, in the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas (3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, Nev. 89109.) Open to the public, complimentary general admission tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis. Fans can pick up their general admission tickets at the Wynn Theater box office beginning at 10 a.m. PT on Friday. Fans can also watch the closed circuit feed at the XS night club at Wynn Las Vegas.

 Doors to the Encore Theater will open at 2:30 p.m. with Chávez Jr. and Martínez scheduled to step on the scale at approximately 3:30 p.m. PT. Chávez Jr. and Martínez are two days away from their historic and sold-out Méxican Independence Day Weekend world championship showdown.

Promoted by Top Rank®, Zanfer Promotions and DiBella Entertainment, in association with Wynn Las Vegas, AT&T and Tecate, the Chávez Jr. vs. Martínez Middleweight Championship Event will take place Saturday, September 15, Méxican Independence Day Weekend, at the Thomas & Mack Center, on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.

Remaining tickets to the Wynn Las Vegas closed circuit presentation are priced at $70 for reserved seating in the intimate Encore Theater and $50 for general admission in the Lafite Ballroom at Wynn.
