In the first bout of the evening, which took place at 126lbs, Victor
Pasillas (2-0, 1 KOs) of Los Angeles, CA, who is trained by Robert Garcia,
completely dominated Jesus Adame (2-10, 0 KOs) of Guasave, Mexico, to win
via third round TKO after a barrage of unanswered punches. Pasillas won
every second of every round and scored one knockdown in the second with a
right hook.

In the second bout of the evening, which took place at 140lbs, KeAndre
Gibson (7-0-1, 3 KOs) of St. Louis, MO, defeated Moris Rodriguez (3-1-1, 2
KOs) of Chico, CA, via unanimous decision with three scores of 58-56.
Gibson looked sharp early but appeared to fade in the fourth and fifth
rounds before edging out the sixth.

In the third bout of the evening, which took place at 135lbs, Eric Flores
(4-1-1, 1 KO) of Inglewood, CA, shutout Raymond Nichol (3-1-1, 2 KOs) of
Denver, CO, via unanimous decision with two scores of 40-36 and one score
of 40-35.

In the fourth bout of the evening, which took place at 140bs, Jose Roman
(14-0, 11 KOs) of Garden Grove, CA, knocked out Rudolfo Armenta (11-8-1, 9
KOs) of Rio

Rico, AZ, in devastating fashion with a dynamic left hook in the fifth
round. Roman brutalized Armenta throughout the fight and scored a knockdown
in the first with a double left hook.

In the fifth bout of the evening, which took place at 147lbs, Brad Soloman
(18-0, 7 KOs) of Douglas, GA, grinded out a hard fought unanimous decision
over a game but clearly outclassed Hector Munoz (10-8-1, 13 KOs) of
Albuquerque, NM with scores of 79-71, 77-73, and 78-72. Soloman floored
Munoz in the second with a straight right and was deducted a point in the
seventh for unclear reasons.

In the sixth bout of the evening and the only heavyweight bout, Andy Ruiz,
Jr. (15-0, 9 KOs) of Mexicali, Mexico, defeated Jonte Willis (8-4-1, 3 KOs)
of Tacoma, WA, in the final round via 8th round TKO after a combination of
punches that was punctuated by two devastating rights. Although it was an
ugly bout, the crowd was entertained throughout, especially following the
knockdown that Ruiz scored in the fifth after a flurry of punches caught
Willis off balance. Despite abandoning the jab and choosing to exchange
with his less skilled opponent, Ruiz controlled the fight from the fifth
on.

In the last bout before the HBO broadcast, Anthony Flores (2-0, 1 KO) of
Inglewood, CA, defeated Cameron Kreal (2-2-2, 0 KOs) of Las Vegas, NV, in a
140lb bout via unanimous decision with two scores of 38-37 and one score of
39-36. Flores floored Kreal in the first with a left hook to the body but
seemed to fade as the fight progressed.
