Gevor back in Berlin on April 25 against Vugdelija

Noel Gevor (16-0, 9 KOs) is back in action on April 25. The talented German cruiserweight faces Stjepan Vugdelija (11-4, 8 KOs) at the Columbia Hall in Berlin.

Gevor returns to the German capital for the second time this year following a unanimous points victory over Alejandro Emilio Valori at the O2 World in February. Despite a positive result against the experienced Argentinian, the 24 year-old believes there is room for improvement against the Croatian Vugdelija.

‘’It’s great to be fighting in Berlin again,’’ said the Hamburg-boxer. ‘’However, this time, the fans will see an improved performance. Against Valori, I focused too much on the knockout and forgot about my tactics. That won’t happen again. On April 25, I will be back to my best!’’

Ahead of his ring return, Gevor will gain valuable experience sparring former world champion Krzystopf Wlodarczyk. The 24 year-old joins Wlodarczyk in training camp as the Pole prepares for his rematch with Grigory Drozd. ‘’This will be a great learning experience for me,’’ said Gevor. ‘’I have the opportunity to test myself against one of the best in the world and see where I stand and how far away I am from world level.’’

Gevor joins an action-packed show in Berlin. Tyron Zeuge (16-0, 10 KOs) tops the bill with an IBF International Super Middleweight Championship defence against former world title challenger Nikola Sjekloca (28-3, 8 KOs), while German stars Enrico Koelling (16-1, 6 KOs), Karo Murat (26-2-1, 16 KOs) and Burak Sahin (6-0, 6 KOs) return alongside Polish cruiserweight Mateusz Masternak (34-2, 24 KOs).
