Knockout Season 2 sure to be a hit

Season two of boxing’s hot reality show Knockout is just a few days away from finishing up filming.

The hit first season was loaded with some of the biggest names in the sport. Floyd Mayweather Sr. Ruben Guerrero, and Yoel Judah served as the celebrity trainers. Guest appearances were made by champions and former champions like Robert Guerrero, Shawn Porter, Zab Judah, Jessie Vargas, Nonito Donaire and contenders such as Andy Ruiz and Mariusz Wach. Mohammed Ali’s business adviser Gene Kilroy even made an appearance.

Despite all of the star power that the show received, it fell a little short due to the fact that it wasn’t available in many boxing fan’s homes.

Season two will begin airing shortly and is sticking to the original format by bringing the sport’s biggest names. Future Hall of Famers Roy Jones, Shane Mosley and the show’s main trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. serve as season two’s main trainers.

World class trainer Yoel Judah is also back along with celebrity apperances by Vinny Paz, Sergey Kovalev, Jean Pascal, Curtis Stevens, Kathy Duva Peter Manfredo Jr. and others.

Even with the additional star power, you can still ask the question, “what is going to make the show rise to championship status?”

Here is why Knockout is a safe bet to have even more success with season two. For starters it is being directed this season by famed director Benny Boom who has directed movies like Next Day Air and music videos for elite artists from LL Cool J to Nicki Minaj and everyone in between. Season two also has the backdrop of one of the world’s most beautiful resorts and casinos in Foxwoods but the real key will be viewership. With NUVOtv’s purchase of Fuse, Knockout will be available in just about every home in America. That is why this will become a sure thing.

The executive producer/creator of the show Steven Marcano is known as a deal broker and a creative marketing person. As the founder of My Lil Star Baby Products, which is the only minority owned diaper company in the world, Marcano has done deals with Mike Tyson, Don King, AWE T.V., Scunci International, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Vince McMahon and many others and is truly falling into his role as a Hollywood deal broker.

Knockout has offers for format deals in Russia, Mexico and China. There are also several possibilities for second run deals. Marcano is also discussing additional shows with Fuse/NUVOtv and other networks that will give him the power to cross promote. If you put all of this together Knockout will win by knockout to become boxing’s championship boxing show.
