Nordic Fight Night returns to Frederikshavn on February 7

The Nordic Fight Night returns to the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn on February 7. Micki Nielsen (16-0-0, 12 KOs) will headline an action packed show, featuring the very best in Scandinavian boxing.

Nielsen is back following a unanimous points victory over Gusmyr Perdomo on December 13. In a career best performance the Danish cruiserweight dominated the former world title challenger, and is now eager to build on this success and start 2015 with a bang.

“I was really pleased with my performance against Perdomo,’’ said Nielsen. ‘’It has given me a huge confidence boost. I think I have proven that I’m ready to step up. 2015 will be about continuing my journey to the top. That must begin with another great performance on February 7 in Frederikshavn.’’

Nielsen will be joined by a number of top boxing talents. Full details of the undercard and opponents will be announced shortly.

“We’re excited to be returning to the Arena Nord,’’ said promoter Nisse Sauerland. ‘’It is a fantastic arena that has played host to some great nights of boxing in the past. It will be no different on February 7. As always we will have the very best Danish, Swedish and Norwegian boxers in action. We will be announcing some very exciting match-ups in the coming weeks.”

Per Malmberg, CEO of Arena Nord, is looking forward to a spectacular boxing event. “We are delighted to welcome the Nordic Fight Night back in town for the sixth time. We’re sure we will have another fantastic night of boxing on February 7.’’
