While out watching the fights we ran into a couple of good friends in boxing’s Brian Vera, and King Mo from the world of MMA. The pair have been close for a couple years now, often helping each other prepare for their battles inside the ring or cage.
Vera will be involved in the biggest fight of his career later in the month when he takes on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. who is looking to come back from both a loss to Sergio Martinez, as well as a failed drug test following that bout. While he may be a significant underdog, both Vera and Mo believe that it is Brian Vera who will come out of that fight with his hand raised.
The fight has already been delayed a couple times after the Chavez camp claimed that he suffered a cut to his eye during training. Vera disputes that, as do many boxing observers, believing that the real reason for the delays is because Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is having a tough time making weight. Check out what Vera and Mo have to say about what is gonna go down on Sept. 28.
