Ricardo Mayorga, love him or hate him, is one of the more entertaining characters in boxing. Here he talks with Rosario Grajales about a variety of topics.
When asked about Don King, he made his dislike for the promoter clear. He even accused King of stealing millions from him. f course, he is hardly the first boxer to make that claim.
He also talks at length about Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who he clearly has a disdain for. He goes on at length about the son of a Mexican legend, ultimately saying that he will never live up to the legacy of his father.
Finally, he says that he would like a crack at Floyd Mayweather. Of course every other fighter would as well, but Mayorga makes an interesting proposition that will likely fall on deaf ears.
