Gavin McDonnell will defend his European Super Bantamweight title against Jeremy Parodi at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on September 5, live on Sky Sports.
The Doncaster favourite makes the first defence of the belt he landed with a wide points win over Oleksandr Yegerov in March in Sheffield and can expect a tough test against the Frenchman who held the IBF International belt and gets a second crack at the title having challenged Carl Frampton for it in October 2013.
Joining McDonnell in support of Leeds fan favourite Josh Warrington’s defence of his WBC International and Commonwealth Featherweight titles against Joel Brunker is British Lightweight champion Scotty Cardle defending his title for the first time, Andy Townend making the first defence of his English Super Featherweight title against Lee Glover and new Matchroom Boxing signing Callum Johnson fights for the 14th time in the paid ranks.
