Diego Magdeleno (23-0) beat Antonio Davis (29-8) by TKO – The fight started slow with both fighters feeling the other out. With just over 10 seconds left in the round however, Magdeleno staggers Davis, but is unable to finish him before the round ends.
In the second, Magdeleno continues to hurt Davis with body punches, but nothing quite appears to put Davis on the edge of defeat quite yet. More of the same in the third with Diego proving to be the superior fighter in much the same manner as the previous bout.
Finally, in the fourth Magdeleno breaks through. Once again he injures Davis, but this time he doesn’t let him off the hook. He swarms all over the hurt Davis who is unable to keep Magdeleno at bay. Joe Cortez keeps a close eye, allowing Davis the chance to recover. Unfortunately for Davis, he is unable to do so, giving Cortez no choice but to call the bout at 2:59 of round 3. Magdeleno put on a clinic in this fight, showing that he is a force to be reckoned with in the super featherweight division.
Jose Benavidez Jr. (16-0) beat Javier Loya (7-1) by TKO – The talent level was clear from the beginning of this fight as Benavidez Jr. dominated from the opening bell. Things really picked up in the second as Loya was given the matador treatment and almost fell completely out of the ring as he stumbled at Benavidez, who brushed him aside and sprawling on the canvas. After Loya stood back up, he was bothered by the faster, stronger, more accurate Benavidez who seemed to almost be toying with Loya.
The third round saw more of the same as Benavidez continued to show patience while picking apart the game, but outgunned Loya. The talent disparity grows more clear as Loya has nothing to offer that poses any threat, and every time he throws, Benavidez responds with a quick accurate counter.
Finally, in the fourth Benavidez Jr. unleashes a huge flurry of punches that go unanswered, forcing referee Tony Weeks to call a halt to the bout at 1:41 of round 4. It was a very impressive performance by Benavidez Jr. who showed he has real promise.
Mike Lee(10-0) knocked out Tyler Seever (13-12-1) – The first round was fairly close, with Seever throwing the harder punches. Nothing substantial landed for either side as Lee took the round.
In the second, Lee took charge as he dropped Seever early with a big right hand. Seever beats the count but fails to clinch as he desperately tries to fend of Lee who moved in for the kill. Lee finally finishes the job as another big right flattens Seever at 1:36 of the second round.
Lee looked fairly impressive in this fight against a clearly inferior opponent. I am curious to see if he will be able to elevate his game as his opponents get increasingly better.

Tremaine Williams (3-0) won via unanimous decision over Jazzma Hogue (2-2-1). Scores were 40-36 on all cards
Tommy Turner (3-2) won by TKO over Billy Schmidt (1-2-2) at 2:36 of the first round
Saul Rodriguez (6-0) knocked out Jose Morales (6-4-0-1) at :26 of round 3.
Giovani Santillan (4-0) won by UD over Joaquin Chavez (1-2-2)
