Jonathan Vidal (16-0, 8 KOs) looked impressive against Josean Figueroa (8-3-1, 7 KOs) recording a third round TKO stoppage. Vidal stunned Figueroa in round two and in the very next round he floored Figueroa with a potent left hook. The referee stopped it a short time later in the third when it was obvious that Figueroa was not protecting himself. The WBC FECARBOX bantamweight title now belongs to Vidal as both boxers fought for the vacant championship.

Janiel Rivera (8-0-2, 5 KOs) wasted no time putting away Omar Soto (15-8-1, 6 KOs) in the first round, picking up the vacant WBC FECARBOX strawweight  title. After dropping Soto in the opening minute, Rivera finished Soto off with a body shot he could not get up from.

Kevin Nieves (3-0, 2 KOs) defeated Osvaldo Vazquez (0-1) by a third round stoppage. Both junior welterweights fought at a high pace. Nieves caught Vazquez with some hard shots and had him against the ropes in the third round. The referee stopped it a short time later after Vazquez was receiving punches and not answering back.

Starling Cordero (5-0, 2 KOs) swept all four rounds against Eduardo Melendez (4-12, 1 KO). The bantamweight prospect Cordero kept his hands busy throughout the fight.

Undercard

Undefeated featherweight Pedro Vicente (3-0, 1 KO) took a four round split decision over Juan Pillot (1-1). Vicente out hustled Pillot on several occasions.

Lightweights Jose Castro (1-0 1 KO) and Carlos Acevedo (0-1) thrilled the crowd with a barn burner. After getting dropped in the first minute of the first round by Acevedo, Castro stormed back and floored Acevedo. A short time later Castro knocks out Acevedo cold.

Charlie Clemente (3-0, 2 KOs) knocked out Armando Adorno (0-4) in the second round of a scheduled four round junior bantamweight bout with a body shot. Adorno was also dropped in the first round.

Robert Figueroa (2-1-2, 1 KOs) and Jose Del Valle (1-1-2) battled to a four round draw. Figueroa went down in the first round but returned the favor when he made Del Valle visit the canvas in round three when he landed a left hook. The bout was fought at the junior bantamweight limit.
