He has been around the sport for many years, so it was only fitting to talk to Al Bernstein after the return to prime time network boxing on Saturday night where Keith Thurman won a hard fought unanimous decision over Robert Guerrero. The last time boxing was on prime time, Larry Holmes was defending his title against Carl “The Truth” Williams. Back then, Bernstein was a newcomer to the sport.
We got his thoughts on the performances of all fighters involved, as well as the overall production itself. For the most part, Bernstein thought things went pretty well. See what he had to say below.
