Amer Abdallah has long been one of the top full contact kickboxers in the world. And earlier in the year, when he took out European champion James Wallis, he proved that not only is he a top level fighter, but perhaps of championship caliber. In fact, with that win, he has put himself in line for a shot at the world title sometime in 2015.
We caught up with the Lockport, NY based fighter to get his thoughts on the fight with Wallis, as well as how he expects that to translate into a dream opportunity for a chance at a world title sometime next year.
Additionally, Abdallah shared with us that he is planning to make the move to Las Vegas, where he believes he will be able to enhance his training.
For those who are worried that it will have an effect on his popular Lace Up Promotions, he says there is no need to fear, they have no plans to stop running shows in Western New York, as well as the East Coast.
