Former Polish heavyweight contender and four-time world title challenger Andrew Golota explained why he decided to fight Riddick Bowe under pro-wrestling rules. The fight between the two dubbed “Unfinished Business” will go down on November 3rd at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland.
– Riddick Bowe has been provoking me since last two years to bring me into the ring. Each time he reminds, that he defeated me and he was better than me. But I don’t want to get back to the ring. 16 years ago, after the fight with me, Riddick retired. He returned 8 years later, but he didn’t think about the sport and being in good shape too much. And I was still active. Now his boxing skills are not good enough. I’m not going to expose my fans to show at which I’ll be beating a defenseless man – Golota told Polish journal “Fakt”.
