Saul Alvarez and Alfredo Angulo, along with the rest of the supporting card hit the scales just 24 hours before the combatants meet in the ring.
Canelo paid Angulo $100,000 in order to move the fight up to a 155 lb. limit rather than the originally scheduled 154 lbs. Angulo agreed and both fighters tipped the scales at 154.5.
Other than that, the weigh-ins were free of drama. All other fighters made weight, with only the canceled Molina vs. Charlo title fight giving us much to talk about.
Canelo vs. Angulo takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on March 8. The card will be carried by Showtime pay-per-view.
