Chase Corbin came to boxing relatively late, but quickly found success in the ring, partnering with Jeff Mayweather and compiling an impressive 6-0 record before life circumstances forced him to take a 21 month hiatus.
Finally, in July he was able to return to action, scoring an impressive 2nd round knockout over Roberto Valenzuela, a veteran of over 130 professional fights. Rather than taking another long layoff, Corbin is making a quick turnaround, stepping into the ring Friday night for the second time this month. It’s a pace he plans to keep up for the next few months, getting his career back on a path he believes will end with a title around his waste.
Here Corbin talks about returning to the gym and getting back into fighting shape, as well as his plans going forward. Additionally, he talks about being a good father, and how important that is to him.
