A former amateur standout and the cousin of boxing great Oscar De La Hoya, 19-year-old Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico native Diego “The Golden Kid” De La Hoya (2-0, 2 KO’s) has received plenty of positive comments on his first two professional bouts, in which he knocked out Luis Cosme and Abraham Rubio.
