Boxing returns to network television this weekend, but before the combatants hit the ring, they took to the stage one last time for their final press conference.
Keith Thurman vs. Robert Guerrero will serve as the main event. This contest should be interesting. With an impressive outing here, Thurman should show he is a legitimate contender, and put himself in line to be a potential future opponent for Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao. As for Robert Guerrero, he is trying to prove he is still among the best in the division.
In the co-main, Adrien Broner faces off with John Molina Jr. This fight features the slick boxing of Broner versus the rugged tenacity of Molina. Basically it all should boil down to whether or not Molina can catch up to Broner who clearly has the edge in speed and skill. However, Molina has shown time and again that he is never out of a fight.
Finally, Abner Mares will take place in a featured bout against Reyes. For Mares, he is looking to show that he is still among, if not the best, fighter in the world in his division.
