Jeremy Nichols may not have had a fight as a professional yet, but the fact that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has enough faith in him to use him as a sparring partner in preparation for Manny Pacquiao should say a lot about the talent the kid possesses.
We got a chance to talk to the young fighter outside the Mayweather Boxing Club to get his thoughts about this opportunity and what it could mean for his career. Although appreciative of the work, Nichols made it clear that he would not let the moment overwhelm him. He insists he is up to the task.
