Carl Froch (29-2, 21 KOs) will put his IBF super middleweight title on the line when he faces the IBF number six ranked contender, Yusaf Mack (31-4-2, 17 KOs) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The fight will take place in Froch’s backyard, the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England on November 17. In his last outing this past May, Froch came away with one of his most impressive victories, by stopping previously undefeated Lucian Bute in the fifth round to take his IBF belt he is now defending. Yusaf Mack’s last bout was a six round unanimous decision win over Sabou Ballogou in June.
This what Froch had to say about his upcoming fight….
“I can’t wait to get back into that ring in Nottingham and give the fans another great night,” said Froch. “The Bute win will go down as one of the greatest nights of my life and I plan on doing something special against Mack on November 17. He’s got nothing to lose coming here to face me and I know he’ll put it all on the line to take the title from me so I’ll be fully prepared for everything he’s got and I’ll be hitting him with all my best.”
