Things were tame at the press conference the day before, but on Friday, these got heated between Vanes Matirosyan and Jermell Charlo who will be facing off on the evenings co-main event on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
As the fighters faced off, the talking began, and it only escalated, until eventually they had to be pulled apart by their respective camps. Matirosyan went to get the rest of his clothes on, but made his way back to the Charlo side where the jawing resumed.
As he was led back, all he said was that they “liked to talk,” when asked what had gone on.
