Hot undefeated challenger Butler, still the British, Commonwealth and WBA International Super-Flyweight Champion, says he’s ready for the biggest night of his life and after only one fight at bantamweight is confident of dethroning Hall.
“It’s a dream to fight for the world title and it’s an opportunity I’m not going to miss or slip up on June 7,” Said Hall.
“It’ll be a great all-British tear-up between me and Stuart, the fans will absolutely love it, but I’ll be crowned the new world champion. He says he’ll be too big and strong for me on the night, but will Stuart be ready for me? I’ll be too good for him, the speed, angles and power will be too much for him.”
However, Darlington’s hard and experienced Hall says he’s not underestimating his young challenger and is confident of retaining his title for a second time.
“This is going to be a great spectacle for British boxing,” Said Hall.
“Paul’s a real class fighter and that’s giving me the extra push in training to make sure I beat him on the night. I’m not underestimating him at all, if anything we’re overestimating him. I’m the world champion and I’ll do everything I can to keep hold of my title. I’m in a dream position, I’ve worked hard to be here and I won’t let it go. I’ll keep the dream alive by beating Butler on June 7.”
*Both parties have agreed terms and the fight is subject to sanctioning from the IBF.
