Having known and worked with WBO champion Jessie Vargas since he was a young kid, Jeff Mayweather knows more about the man facing Manny Pacquiao than most. When we asked the boxing trainer about Vargas’ chances against thee legendary Pacquiao, Mayweather said he believes he has the tools to get the job done.
However, he knows it will not be easy. In order to defend his belt, it is important that Vargas focuses on his own strengths and avoids getting into a firefight with Manny. Should he do that, there is a great chance that he will build on his own legacy Saturday night in Las Vegas.
