On the October 30th edition of the Jeff Mayweather Show, Jeff , Alexz and Carla were joined by Lanardo Tyner and Ava Knight.
Tyner starts the show by reflecting on the great Emanuel Steward as well as discussing what it was like to train at the Kronk Gym during the Steward era. Then the discussion moves on to Tyner’s title victory following a rough patch in his career as well as what’s left for him to prove in the future.
Following Tyner, The Lady of Boxing Ava Knight stops by to talk about capturing the WBC diamond belt with a victory of ‘Barbie’ in Mexico City. Knight is a great ambassador for the ladies and is quite candid when discussing the ladies and the problems they face in receiving recognition for their talents.
