In an evening of exciting action from the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, it was a local fighter who provided perhaps the highlight of the evening. That is, so long as you didn’t blink.
In a fight that had barely heard the opening bell, the popular Jesus “Chuy” Gutierrez flattened the outclassed Pablo Beccera in well under a minute, electrifying the many fans in attendance who had come out to show support to their guy.
The only negative was that many had no idea what happened, and there were others who hadn’t even made it to their seats yet. However, considering it was their guy that came out on the winning side, it surely was something they were all more than happy to live with.
We caught up with Gutierrez just moments after the win to get his thoughts on what had happened. As expected, he was in high spirits, ready to get right back into action. Well, right after he went out to celebrate with some well deserved tacos.
