Coming this spring to NUVOtv is a show that will offer up and coming boxers looking for a big break, or those looking to restore a career that has been sidetracked, the opportunity to get a big fight they have long coveted. Guiding them along the way will be trainers Floyd Mayweather Sr., Ruben Guerrero and Yoel Judah, along with superstar boxers Zab Judah, Shawn Porter and Jessie Vargas.
One of the fighters looking to introduce himself to a larger audience is talented light welterweight Marc Salser. An impressive 15-1 so far in his career, he lost for the first time in his last outing, an entertaining affair against Adrian Granados in which he suffered a TKO loss in the 6th round. Looking to put that setback behind him, he is confident this show will prove that he is a fighter that deserves an opportunity to get a fight against a title contender.
We spoke to Marc at a Las Vegas restaurant where he was among the assembled fighters, trainers and media involved in the project. He talked about what the show means to his career, as well how he anticipates things will go during the course of filming.
“Knockout” airs starting in April. Check out Nuvotv for further details.
