Matchroom Boxing are hosting a fans zone and fans forum ahead of tomorrow’s weigh-in at Wembley Arena from 2pm for Carl Froch’s huge IBF and WBA Super Middleweight World title rematch with George Groves at Wembley Stadium connect by EE live on Sky Sports Box Office in association with Betway.
A whole host of Matchroom Boxing fighters will be mixing with fans for photos and autographs, plus interviews with the media on the weekend’s fights and their own activity, with Luke Campbell MBE, Anthony Joshua MBE, Brian Rose, Scott Quigg, Rocky Fielding, Kal Yafai and Paul Smith, with Sky Sports’ pundit and former World champion Paulie Malignaggi among the stars in attendance.
Following the fans zone Sky Sports’ Adam Smith will host a boxing fans forum with promoter Eddie Hearn, Boxing News editor Tris Dixon, promoter Dave Coldwell and both Malignaggi and Paul Smith.
All the fighters on Saturday’s stunning bill will then weigh-in from approximately 3.30pm and entry is free, with doors opening at 2pm.
Froch and Groves renew hostilities on Saturday night in the main event, with chief support coming from James DeGale MBE who takes on Brandon Gonzales in a final eliminator for Froch’s IBF belt.
Jamie McDonnell has the chance to become a two-time World champion when he takes on Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat for the vacant WBA Bantamweight title, Kevin Mitchell meets Ghislain Maduma in a final eliminator for the IBF Lightweight title and Olympic Gold medal hero Anthony Joshua MBE faces Matt Legg in his sixth pro contest.
