Olympian Egidijus Kavaliauskas to debut March 29

Olympian Egidijus Kavaliauskas of Lithuania has signed with Top Rank and will box at the Texas Station Gambling Hall and Hotel on SATURDAY, MARCH 29.

Kavaliauskas, a welterweight, is 25. He fought for Lithuania in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. Kavaliauskas was a bronze medalist at the 2011 World Championships. He is trained by 2013 ‘Trainer of the Year’ Robert Garcia in Oxnard, Ca.

As a professional, Kavaliauskas has a record of 4-0 and boxes in the same stable as Vasyl Lomachenko. Both are managed by Egis Klimas.

“Kavaliauskas will put his mark on the welterweight division and will bring Lithuania onto the pro boxing map,” Klimas said.

Kavaliauskas will box six rounds in the welterweight division on Top Rank’s Solo Boxeo Tecate fight card at TEXAS STATION.
