Unbeaten Commonwealth and British heavyweight champion David Price (15-0, 13 KOs) was again impressive as he annihilated former world title challenger Matt Skelton (28-7, 23 KOs) in two rounds on Friday night at the Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, England. Price dropped the 45-year-old Skelton with a series of body shots and Skelton’s corner threw in the towel. Promoter Frank Maloney said Price will be in action next in February “against an American opponent” believed to be two-time world title challenger Tony Thompson.

Super middleweight Tony Dodson (29-7-1, 14 KOs) outpointed journeyman John Anthony (8-28-1, 5 KOs) over six uneventful rounds. The score was 59-55.

Jr welterweight Steve Williams (13-1, 5 KOs) scored twelve round decision over previously unbeaten Kirk Goodings (7-1, 1 KO). Williams pressured Goodings the whole fight and the score of 116-115 seemed surprisingly close.

In an upset, lightweight Youssef Al Hamidi (12-49-2, 1 KO) edged previously unbeaten Tommy Carus (4-1, 0 KOs) in a four-rounder.

Other results:
Joe Selkirk W8 Ruslans Pojonisevs (super middleweight)
Mike Stafford TKO1 Rihad Bigis (cruiserweight)
Andy Calquhoun Ko3 Brendan Bean (lightweight)
