Coliseo Guillermo Angulo, Carolina, Puerto Rico — Number one ranked WBC welterweight Thomas Dulorme (16-0, 12 KOs), defeated Yoryi Estrella (11-4-2, 7 KOs), by a ten round unanimous decision. Durlome utilized his speed in the opening round with his quick right hand and left jab. Other than a low blow in the second, mostly all of Durlome’s punches were landing clean. In the third round the Carolina native started to connect on body shots. The delay of tape wrapping to Delurme’s glove helped the wary Estrella catch a breather in the fourth.
The boxing ability of Delorme was on display in round five as he hit, moved, and used lateral movement. Another break for Estrella came in round six as Delorme’s glove tape came loose again and he was now flirting with a point deduction. Once again in the seventh, Delorme’s tape wrap delays the fight. Although Delorme was easily winning the fight through out the first eight rounds, he seemed to have lost his rhythm as a result of his constant hand wrapping pit stops.
Round nine was more of the same for Delorme as he demonstrated his ring general leadership. Durlome played it safe in the final round, as he figured he had the fight in the bag. Ivan Hernandez, who was the original opponent for Dulorme, could not get a visa in time for the match. Estrella took the fight on ten days notice.

Lightweight sensation Jose “Sniper” Pedraza (10-0, 6 KOs) defeated Jose Valderrama (4-2, 2 KOs) by an eight round unanimous decision. The boxer-puncher Pedraza easily won the first round with his pin point shots. It was more of the same in the second as the ‘Sniper’ got the better of Valderrama in every department. Pedraza begins to connect to the body combined with his flush shots to the head in the third round.
Valderrama is starting to get picked apart in round four as Pedraza is connecting at will. It is not getting any easier for Valderrama as the fight progresses, specially in the fifth round as he takes in more punishment. The ‘Sniper’ dropped Valderrama in the six with a body shot. In round seven, Valderrama continued to take a beating as Pedraza stayed in the pocket mustering shots. Occasionally, Valderrama sneaked in a good shot.
