Two-time Mexican Olympian OSCAR VALDEZ will close out his first full year as a professional on Saturday, December 21 in Tijuana, Mexico on a card to be televised in all of Mexico by TV AZTECA.
Valdez (8-0, 7 KO’s) of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico will take on Cristian Barajas (4-4-1, 2 Kos) of Tijuana, Mexico in a six round featherweight battle.
This will be Valdez’s seventh fight of 2013 and first in Mexico since his pro debut in November of last year in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. On his last effort on Nov 9 in Corpus Christi, Texas he stopped Jesus Lule in the fifth round.
